​'A Bag with Purpose: a stunning glass leather accessory advocates for transparency regarding gender pay disparity within the fashion industry. By fostering greater transparency, it empowers individuals to scrutinise and address inequalities, such as the persistent gender pay gap prevalent in fashion. Peering through its design not only reveals these disparities with what is carried in the pocket but also ignites the momentum for progress towards gender equity'.

The Glass Runway exhibition opened on 4th June in The Mac, Belfast and on 6th June in CRAFT NI Gallery.  It was a project instigated by the Glass Society of Ireland (GSoI) to garner collaborations and expand horizons as artists and creators in Ireland.  GSoI partnered with The Council of Irish Fashion Design to make new work exploring ideas around Gender Equality, Diversity and Inclusion.
